Sweden’s finest camera-maker launches our favourite compact yet

Hasselblad has been making cameras for 173 years, yet the brand is only really on the radar of those in the know. Like that most coveted of camera-makers Leica, it creates not only powerful, rugged devices but bona fide objets d’art. This new pocket-sized Stellar model is made from champagnecoloured aluminium and a hand-carved walnut grip, fashioned in the same way as high-end shotgun stocks. The Stellar also features a high-end Carl Zeiss lens, a 20.1 megapixel sensor and excellent low-light performance. It is also capable of capturing 60 frames per second video. It doesn’t come cheap, but then this level of quality never does.
